Join us at CWJC for a new experience and turning point in your life!!


CWJC offers an opportunity to grow from dependency to self-sufficiency.  Two 12 week sessions are provided annually; one beginning in February and the other starting in September.  Classes are tuition free and include:
 

  • Women's Devotional -
    Each session will focus on a different women in the Bible. Discover new insights and experience a powerful witness to God's gracious love that will leave you challenged, encouraged and deeply valued. 

  • Bible Study - 
    Discover who God is, how to know Him and how to interact with Him in everyday life.

  • Job Search Skills- 
    Job readiness (faith, attitude, accountability), Resume preparation and writing, and Interview skills.

  • Money Management -
     A biblical basis for managing our finances.  Learn good record keeping  strategies to create a workable budget. Discussion will include tips on saving for things we want, investing money for the future, the benefit of not buying on credit, and insurance needs.  Students will receive numerous handouts and valuable information for reducing debt.

  • Computer Skills/Word/Excel -
    Learn to navigate the Internet, Windows 10 and how to create Word
    and Excel documents.

  • Your Skills = Your Opportunity - 
    Learn how to create your own boundaries as well as explore boundaries within other people.  Plan to look internally to understand where your boundaries or lack of boundaries are coming from. Learn skills of communication, teamwork, critical thinking and problem solving. Let the "good stay in" and "let the bad out"; learn when to say yes and how to say no.

  • Intro to Bookkeeping/QuickBooks 
    Learn basic bookkeeping skills.

  • Customer Service Training -
    Discover the fundamental principle of amazing customer service using strategies, techniques, and tips to satisfy and delight online, telephone and in-person customers and keep them coming back!

  • Sewing Skills -
    Learn basic sewing skills and discover the joy of creating and sharing.  Lots of “hands on” time will provide confidence and fun.  Get tips for creating an office wardrobe on a budget.

  • Time Management - The Guilt-Free Guide to Life Balance
    Life Balance is about doing the right things at the right time - and you get to decide what's right for You!

  • Other Topics Provided by Featured Guest Speakers

Participants must be 18 years of age or older and drug/alcohol free.  Classes meet on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.  Lunch is provided daily.  Attendance policies are strictly adhered to in order to receive a Certificate of Completion at the end of 12 weeks.
